References to ‘Paper Planes’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘The Paper Planes Shop’, ‘Oddly Enough’ or ‘the website’ or ‘the websites’, refer to the sole proprietorship.
By accessing the websites as above and/or availing of any of the services of Paper Planes, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, including those listed under the heads Privacy Policy and Returns & Exchange Policy elsewhere on our websites; as well as all applicable laws and regulations. The prices displayed on The Paper Planes Shop may differ from prices of the products in other stores and may vary from country to country for the same product. Prices shown on the website both for India and in other countries are subject to change without prior notice.
The price of our merchandise/products as mentioned on The Paper Planes Shop is the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) for the said product. Such MRP shall be inclusive of all local taxes as are applicable in India. Additional applicable taxes may be charged depending upon the destination where the order has to be shipped to. The tax rate applied and charged upon the order shall include combined tax rate for both state and local tax rates in accordance with the address where the order is being shipped. Paper Planes reserves the right to collect taxes and/or such other levy / duty / surcharge that it may incur in addition to the normal taxes it may have to pay. We may also charge shipping fees which may include postal charges / shipment charges etc. as may be applicable.
Unless specifically stated otherwise on The Paper Planes Shop, you agree not to hold us responsible for any banking charges incurred due to payments on your account. Payments can be made by using all major credit cards, debit cards, net banking and UPI. Payments will be debited and cleared from your account immediately on order. No products shall be shipped without Paper Planes being in receipt of the said payments.
Paper Planes shall make all endeavours to deliver defect-free products to the purchasers. Paper Planes does not take title to any returned items purchased by the user unless the item is received by Paper Planes. An item purchased on our website does not qualify for any return unless the product delivered is damaged or has manufacturing defects. The defective and/or damaged goods so received shall be communicated to Paper Planes within 5 days of its receipt. Paper Planes holds the sole discretion to determine whether a refund can be issued. For further information on refunds, please refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your subscription and/or order placed on our websites at any time, for any reason that we deem appropriate. You will be notified if this is the case and a refund will be provided for any product that is not sent but has been paid for.
Paper Planes is responsible for each purchase that you make during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. Our goal is to deliver the product(s) to you at the place of delivery requested by you in your order. Please note that it may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Should this be the case, we will inform you using your contact details and arrange for cancellation of the order or an alternative delivery address. Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate Paper Planes for the cost of processing, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering your order to you.
Paper Planes endeavours but does not guarantee delivery of products in the stipulated time period as mentioned on the purchase of the product. In no manner can the contract be repudiated if Paper Planes fails to deliver any one or more products in the stipulated time frame. However, if you fail to take the delivery of the goods, Paper Planes may at its sole discretion charge you for additional shipping costs, if incurred.
1. Gift Cards can be redeemed online only at The Paper Planes Shop at shop.joinpaperplanes.com
2. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards and/or be otherwise combined with any other offer that may be offered by us concurrently, unless specifically stated otherwise.
3. If the order value exceeds the Gift Card amount, the balance must be paid by Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / UPI or other available payment methods.
4. Gift Cards will expire after 6 months from the date of issue and any corresponding unused balance shall be forfeited thereafter.
5. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
6. You are solely responsible for the safety and security of the Gift Card.
7. A Gift Card number is confidential. In the event of any misuse of the Gift Card due to loss of any such confidential details due to the fault of the purchaser, Paper Planes shall not be responsible for the same and no refund can be issued.
8. Validity of Gift Cards cannot be extended, new Gift Cards cannot be provided against the expired / unused Gift Cards.
9. Gift Cards are a prepaid instrument subject to regulations by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Paper Planes will be legally required to share the details of the purchase of the Gift Cards and/or transactions undertaken using the Gift Card with RBI or such statutory authorities. Paper Planes may contact the purchaser of the Gift Card in this regard.
10. There is no fee or other charges associated with Gift Card purchase.
The websites contain material which is owned by and/or licensed to Paper Planes and/or its proprietor, as applicable. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, trademarks, copyrights (including those which have been applied for), trade names, service marks, designs, know-how, trade secrets and inventions (whether patentable or not), goodwill, source code, meta tags, databases, text, content, graphics, icons, and hyperlinks.
Reproduction of any kind is prohibited. All trademarks reproduced on our websites which are not the property of, or licensed to, Paper Planes and/or its proprietor are acknowledged appropriately on the websites. Paper Planes respects the intellectual property of others. All the products sold on the websites shall be solely governed by Indian laws. It is your responsibility to ensure that the products purchased on our websites are not restricted in your territory. Paper Planes shall not be responsible for any non-compliance with regard to the local laws of that territory for any product available on our websites.
Paper Planes has not reviewed all of the websites linked to and/or appearing on our websites and is accordingly not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link on our websites does not imply endorsement by Paper Planes of such other site(s). Any use of any such linked website(s) by the user is at the user’s sole risk and responsibility.
We shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive/penal damages allegedly sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access our websites and/or the services provided thereunder, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action.

Any grievances you have by way of use of the websites can be addressed by way of email to [email protected]. Paper Planes shall thereafter consider the same and provide a response within one month of the date of such complaint / grievance.
The failure by Paper Planes to enforce at any time or for any period any one or more of the Terms of Use hereunder shall not be deemed a waiver by Paper Planes of them or of the right any time subsequent to enforce all Terms of Use.
We reserve the right to make changes to our websites, policies, and these Terms of Use at any time. If any of these terms shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms.
Failure on the part of Paper Planes to perform any of its obligations and the non-furnishing of the service, shall not entitle you to raise any claim against Paper Planes or be a breach hereunder to the extent that such failure arises from an event of force majeure. If through force majeure the fulfilment by either party of any obligation, set forth under these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Returns & Exchange Policy, is delayed, the period of such delay will not be counted on in computing periods prescribed under the respective document. Force majeure will include any war, civil commotion, strike, governmental action, lockout, accident, epidemic, pandemic or any other event of any nature or kind whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of Paper Planes that directly or indirectly hinders or prevents Paper Planes from commencing or proceeding with consummation of the transactions contemplated hereby. You expressly agree that lack of funds on your part shall not in any event constitute or be considered an event of force majeure and you will be liable for any products purchased and/or services availed from us.
The websites and/or its use shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India without regard to its conflict of law provisions and subject to the arbitration provision set out below, all users agree to submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai in connection with any dispute, controversy or claim that arises out of or in connection with the websites and/or its use. Any dispute, controversy or claim that arises out of or in connection with the websites and/or its use shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act by a sole arbitrator appointed by Paper Planes. The seat of the arbitration shall be Mumbai, India. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
